Autograph album, or album amicorum compiled by student Arnold-André Sittard in Cologne and Geilenkirchen, Germany in 1576 and 1577, and in Paris between 1577 and 1581. Nearly all leaves signed and dated by Sittard or his colleagues, including one by Guillaume Postel, the well-known visionary, and professor of mathematics and oriental languages at the Collège Royal de France (verso of leaf [35]), other autographs by Heinrich Sudermann, Johann Brodmang, Caspar Prach, Hermann Dracht, Philip Curtius, Johann Metellus, Gregor Beham, Gerhard ab Hagen, Jacob Paül, Rodolph Hoyer, Petrus Topp, Hermann Merhem, Bernhard Monnius, Daniel Dawan, Heinrich Copp, Georg Beringer, Theodore Cockman, Andreas Benting, Matthias Stegendin, Hermann de Groetenhuisen, and Johann Helman.
