After a terrible beating from her husband, Elizabeth Finestan recalls the tragic events that led her to be bedridden in the hospital. Through her memories, we contemplate how her childhood was already scarred from the abuse both her and her mother faced from her father. However, we are also forced to think about how one could rebel against this type of situation. Elizabeth decides to run away from home and start a new life amongst truthful people who share the same passion: dance. Nonetheless, new challenges are waiting around the corner. Dancer Life is a story about violence against gender, but also about friendships, pursuit of capturing one’s dreams, and overcoming unimaginable situations.
