Employing a range of analytical techniques, the author seeks to investigate the nature of late Roman cooking vessels from the Balearic Islands. Looking at material from sites dating to between the late 5th and early 7th centuries AD, he presents a detailed examination of the composition of the ceramic find types with a view to characterising and provenancing the vessels in use at the time.
