Con La Imagen En El Espejo
Resumen del Libro
The present edition explores the literary vision that Frida Kahlo (b. México 1907-1954) had of herself based on the analysis of the personal notes she wrote in her intimate diary from 1942 to her death in 1954. The original leather bound notebook titled Poemas is part of the holdings of the Museum Casa Azul and author Cristina Cessi describes it as a Intimate diary, agenda, notebook, autobiography and a written self portrait left behind by this polemic surrealist artist, intellectual, and social activist for whom the mirror (espejo) in her bed represented a fundamental part of her life and convalescence.
