A collection of comics illustrated, written, inked, and published by Latinos in the U.S., including both self-published works and mainstream publications. Over 71 artists are represented, highlights include: Jaime Crespo (b. 1961), known for Tales from the Edge of Hell and Narcolepsy Dreams, José Cabrera, known for Crying Macho Man, Rafael Navarro (b. 1967), known for Somnambulo and for drawing from both lucha libre and noir culture, Octavio Rodriguez, whose work is influenced by his career in animation, Crystal Gonzalez, who is based in San Francisco, John Jota Leaños, professor at UC Santa Cruz and social and media activist, Javier Hernandez (b. 1966), known for his character El Muerto, Tito na Rua, a street artist based in Rio de Janeiro, Fábio Moon & Gabriel Bá, twins known for their collaboration on Daytripper. The collection also includes associated ephemera such as zines, posters, postcards, animated DVDs, stickers, pins, and dolls, some of which came from the Latino Comics Expo.
