Documents the first generation of students enrolled in art workshop lead by famous Mexican artist Rufino Tamayo. Taller de Artes Plásticas Rufino Tamayo is a school of art in Oaxaca, Mexico that bears the name of Rufino Tamayo. The workshop was first formed in 1970 when a group of art students left the Escuela de Bellas Artes de Oaxaca to form the workshop. It was here that a large number of artists recaptured the mysticism, history, traditions and cosmology of their native pueblos.
