Mayaguez Y Klumb, La Historia Olvidada
Resumen del Libro

Case study of three buildings at the University of Puerto Rico in Mayaguez that are considered among the first examples of modern architecture in the island. Designed by American-German architect Heinrich Klumb, the buildings portray the interaction between political, social and artistic events from 1948 to 1968. The author illustrates the major influence of the design, balancing among the Wrightian esthetics and the Neues Bauen german movement. Klumb has been regarded as a major disciple of Frank Lloyd Wright. This book questions that premise.
