Juan del Palafox (identified by the Archive of the Indies in Seville as Patronato 244, Ramo 7), which is a chief source of information on the tenure of early Spanish govenor of New Mexico Luis de Rosas, his assassination in Santa Fe in 1642, and the ensuing investigations.
