High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Paddy Cantillon was an Irish sportsperson. He played hurling with his local club Redmonds and with the Cork inter-county team in the early 1900s. Cantillon first came to prominence in 1901 when he was captain of the Cork hurlers for the championship. That year he won his first Munster title, however, Cork were defeated by London in the All-Ireland final. In 1902 Cantillon won a second consecutive Munster title. The team later won the All-Ireland final, however, he played no part in the game. Cantillon also won several county titles with his club.
