Pochito, El Pobre Perrito
Resumen del Libro
This is a short story about Pochito, a cute little puppy, who wants to find love and care, and he does by the end of the story. After the story there is a lesson of Pre-Advanced Spanish language level for children of 2-6 grades with the exercises. Or, it can be beneficially used by adult students of Spanish. Interestingly enough, the childrens language is one of the challenging parts in foreign language studies, that can be often wrongly perceived as easy, and therefore undeservedly skipped by learners. The adult students will be surprised at how many new words and phrases they will actually learn from the book by a passionate author, the experienced teacher, a native speaker of Spanish. The childrens vocabulary is missing in the regular textbooks, nevertheless, it is an essential and vivid language part of a native speaker of Spanish.Alfredo Garcia-Russi has a BA in Spanish Literature and Spanish-American Studies from Montclair State University in NJ, and a MA in Urban Education with a concentration in Spanish from New Jersey City University (NJCU).Alfredo is a recipient of several awards, including Humanitarian Valor Award of 1984-85 in NYC.
