Visiones Convergentes: Mito, Historia Y Arquetipo En La Dramaturgia De Lourdes Ortiz, Sabina Berman Y Diana Raznovich
Resumen del Libro
This dissertation focuses on the different approaches to cultural and societal notions of gender presented in the plays of Spanish author Lourdes Ortiz, Mexican writer Sabina Berman and Argentinean Diana Raznovich. My analysis of each playwright draws on theories of gender and performance such as those presented by Judith Butler, Julia Kristeva, Majorie Garber, Elin Diamon, as well as theater studies of Bertolt Brecht, Martin Esslin and Richard Hornby among others.
