Resumen del Libro
The Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, situated north of Copenhagen in Denmark, is known world wide as a refuge, a meeting place and first of all as a centre for modern art in northern Europe. The museum also has a reputation for large-scale, highly visual architectural exhibitions. When Louisiana presented an exhibition of the work of Jean Nouvel and the AJN projects, Nouvel decided to take the opportunity to sum up a number of his suggestions for society, architecture and human life. The exhibition and the resulting text were both called the Louisiana Manifesto, referring not only to the Louisiana Museum as the place where the text was published, but also to the museum itself as an exemplary piece of architecture and a locus of human wellbeing. In this book you will find the original French text as well as versions in twelve other languages.
