Education In Bolivia
Resumen del Libro

This collection of instructional materials, pamphlets, reports, posters and monographs documents Bolivian educational programs and initiatives. About half of the material in the collection is government published or sponsored, and this portion of the collection contains many materials published as a result of the large-scale educational reform undertaken by the government in 1994. The official publications include copies of legislation, documents concerning education reform, institutional reports and instructional texts. All of these documents are published by one of three government agencies: the Ministerio de Educacion, Cultura y Deportes, or the Secretaria Nacional de Educacion of the Ministeria de desarrollo Humano. Non-government affiliated documents come from schools, institutions and organizations concerned with monitoring the success and results of the educational reform, bilingualism, indigenous participation and representation in education, and cultural sensitivity. All aspects of education, from academic to vocational, and from primary to adult to university education, are represented.
