The book presents Analogic Hermeneutics, (which is a core contribution of Mexican philosophy) applied to cinema, specifically analyzing 3 motion pictures: Unbreakable (USA 2000), The Truman Show (USA, 1998) and Batman and Robin (USA, 1997). The films are analyzed using diverse hermeneutic tools in order to reveal the mechanisms used by cinematography, it resources and the narrative strategies used and the creation of cinema heroes, goddesses and the eternal duality between good and evil.
