In Spain, seven years after the signing of the Capitulations of Santa Fe, New and Old Christians, converted Jews, Moors and Muslims coexist in an uneasy peace. But then, the order given by Archbishop Cisneros and the Inquisitor Diego Rodríguez Luzero to seize and burn all of the books in the hands of the Muslim population that are considered dangerous to the Christian faith and morals detonates a long chain of unpredictable events.
